Its Tuesday and Pat A told me to start the thread
Morning all:
Careful with that big truck, Nan! What kind of dogs do you have?? and what is the new one?. My DIL is fostering a black lab puppy for Paws with a Cause.
Went out to SOS ofc to get my driver's license renewed and big mistake -- must have been at least 30 ppl waiting, so I just left....still have a wk to get it renewed....since they were closed yesterday I guess everyone decided to go today...
Should be reading my book club book so I can pass it on, but am stuck on this computer for some reason.
Had an excellent report at my PCP yesterday for my annual physical....he pronounced me a very healthy lady.
All blood work was very good, except my calcium is high again so he will do a parathyroid test in a couple wks.
Also wants me to have an echo of my heart -- he wants to get me off my water pill but my legs still swell up a little. My cholestrol was 160!!!
I rode my recumbent bike for 60 minutes yesterday and 8.3 miles....working on getting up to 10 miles a day.
Hope we don't get the bad snow storm they are predicting.....I'm ready for spring.

Ok I have a must have gotten an injection of some kind of energy!!!!! I just cleaned out all the crap from my Nissan and vacummened it out and took all the mats out and hosed them down. Now Im going to armorall the inside!!!!! wont Carl be blown a way with a feather!!!!! Now Ill have to do the vibe.
I got my Labwork done for Dr Tillquist. My idea worked. I just wrote down the labs he did on Pat A and told the Pcp office that they emailed me the list to have done before I got there!!!!!and she added more test to that!!!!! My blood pressure was low when I got there so they made me stay there till it went higher........It alsways happens.
the nurse said do I want ot make an appnt to get the lab results. She said what if something is weird, then I said call me. I said no I see her on the 28th anyway so I just get it then. Shell give me a copy to take to Dr Tillquist.
Welll on to finish cleaning the car.

Good morning all,
I am back home after an early trip to the lab. I see the endocrinologist next week, hence the lab work today. I was glad to get in and out of there quickly, as no coffee and fasting made me a head achy grumbly person this am. Had shredded wheat when I got home and I am waiting for coffee to kick in here now....
The girls are at their dad's today, so I have some time to work in my sewing room again. I have a fleece blanket that needs to be done by the weekend so will really have to hustle on it since I haven't started it yet. The girls both have colds, Sami has bronchitis again, she was really sick yesterday, kept her home from school. She needed some nebulizer treatments yesterday. Reminded her dad (soon to be ex SIL) to get a vaporizer and use it and her nebulizer last night. You would think he would already know this since she has had asthma since she was a baby. But he has no clue about so many things!! He took Cheyanne to school without her glasses today. So she called me from school to have me call him and ask him to bring them to her. He thought she'd be ok without them for one day....Told him no...that's why the school called she need them. So grudgingly he is taking them to her at school. Ok enough of a rant!!

Hi Carla and my OFF family:
Not much going on here. I had a bad night at work. My knee really hurt a lot, but fortunately I got home early. Read "Team of Rivals" about Lincoln's Cabinet in bed for awhile while listening to the brain sync tape on weight loss ("You like exercising") ... it actually just makes me very sleepy (could it be it's saying, "You're getting sleepy?") What I really need is something that helps me now with getting rid of my pain. Man, it hurt last night. Took a vicodin when I got home, iced it, Scooter came up and purred for awhile (he's as good as a vicodin, really!) and then rubbed this IcyHot PM lotion on it before bed. Then took another vicodin (3 hours after the first) when I went to bed. This morning, it's much better. I think the therapist really worked me over yesterday. I need to exercise today ("You like exercising.") ... I'll do some biking. I do enjoy the NuStep machine they put me on at the PT gym.
I'm really bored at work. Two pages don't last me very long. If they don't give me something else to do, I'll go crazy. Last night, I was trained to post recipes online. Not too difficult. Just a little confusing because our computer system is so crappy.

First thing this morning I had to drive over and let one of my clients go. The agency he was at decided it just wasn't working out. What a way to start the day!!
Stopped and got gas....sure wi**** would go back down again.
I guess I shouldn't complain so much as it is still less the $2.00 a gallon.
Today is a busy workday as I haven't worked since 10:00AM on Friday. Lots of messages and emails to return. A few fires to put out too.
I am glad Linda S. is doing better. My prayers continue for her and others in need.
